Use Mockly lawfully
Do not upload or create content you do not have rights to use, and do not use the service for harmful or deceptive purposes.
Free and Pro have different limits
Free exports may be limited and watermarked. Pro unlocks additional export, quality, and device options.
You keep ownership of your content
Uploaded screenshots and exported videos remain yours. We only process them to provide the service.
We can suspend misuse
Accounts that violate these terms or threaten platform integrity may be restricted or removed.
The service is provided as-is
Mockly is offered without broad warranties, especially while features continue to evolve.
Local law still matters
These terms set the baseline contract, but consumer protections that cannot be waived still apply where required.

Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Mockly, including the website, editor, exports, templates, and related services.
By accessing or using Mockly, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use Mockly on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

The Service
Mockly is a web-based tool for turning screenshots and design assets into animated video mockups. We may add, remove, or modify features at any time as the product evolves.
Product status
Mockly continues to evolve quickly. Features, export behavior, pricing details, and availability may change over time.

Accounts
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and maintain control over your login credentials.
- You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law to create an account.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
- You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
- You may not share credentials in ways that bypass plan or usage limits.
- You may not create multiple free accounts to avoid restrictions.

Plans & Billing
Billing. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
Cancellation. If you cancel, paid access generally remains active through the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated.
Refunds. Refund handling may vary by offer, promotion, and local law. Where required, statutory consumer rights apply in addition to these terms.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may retry collection, pause paid features, or downgrade the account until billing is resolved.

Acceptable Use
You may not use Mockly to:
- Infringe copyright, trademark, patent, privacy, or other third-party rights.
- Impersonate or misrepresent a person, company, product, or brand.
- Create illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive content.
- Upload malware or attempt to interfere with the service.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or automate access in a way that harms the platform.
- Circumvent plan limits, security controls, or anti-abuse mechanisms.
- Produce misleading content intended to deceive audiences about real events or identities.
Enforcement
We may investigate misuse and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your Content
You retain ownership of your content. Mockly does not claim ownership of screenshots, brand assets, or videos you create using the service.
You grant us a limited license to process your content only as needed to provide the editor, preview, and export functionality.
You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use everything you upload or export through Mockly.

Intellectual Property
The Mockly product, interface, code, branding, device frames, and original templates are owned by Mockly or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Except where expressly allowed, you may not copy, redistribute, sublicense, resell, or create derivative works from the service itself.

Disclaimers
Mockly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not guarantee that exports will always be error-free, that the service will be continuously available, or that every defect will be fixed on a specific timeline.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mockly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data arising from your use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded entirely, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for the platform, or where continued service would be unlawful.
Provisions that by nature should survive termination, including content ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, will remain in effect.

Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity operating Mockly, excluding conflict-of-law rules where permitted.
Before filing a formal claim, contact us so we have a chance to resolve the issue directly.
